It’s time to start a brand new year. We can reflect and celebrate the great accomplishments of T. J. Austin's 2011-2012 school year. The academic successes of our students with the support of our teachers have put the school on a path toward greatness. We plan to continue this journey with you and your students in this historical educational institution.

We strive to provide the best educational experience possible. Our teachers will teach to the best of their ability every day; guiding your student on a path that will give him/her the skills necessary for a productive future in college or career after high school. The curriculum will be rigorous and the standards will remain high. We cannot afford to lower the bar.  Our students must be able to compete not just with students in Tyler; our students must be able to compete with students across the globe. Our students deserve a world class education, and at T. J. Austin Elementary they will receive it.
